Learn More About HELOCs
What Are They?
HELOCs allow you to borrow money at a low-interest rate against the equity of your home.
HELOCs are also re-advanceable, meaning you can borrow and pay it back as many times as you like—an excellent way to borrow money!
Am I Qualified?
You may be able to finance up to 80% of your home’s total value, with up to 65% in a HELOC. For example, if your home is worth $100,000 and you owe $50,000 on a mortgage, you could qualify for HELOC of up to $30,000—totalling $80,000.
Are There Fees?
There are registration fees for HELOCs. You may also need a home appraisal to determine its current market value. Having said that, lenders often have promotions to cover these charges.
